Między Słowami

Design of a monograph dedicated to Katarzyna Józefowicz, created on the occasion of the exhibition Between the Words. Perhaps the most fitting word to describe Katarzyna Józefowicz’s work is silence. Her installations radiate a sense of uneasy calm. The repetition and banality of the elements make them appear familiar and domesticated, yet that same repetition and banality render them subtly unsettling. This tension between tranquility and unease - an emotional dissonance - accompanies the viewer throughout the experience of her work.
